Evan Bacon's, Life-sized Lego Batman!
This 6ft LEGO Batman sculpture was built and designed by 13 year-old Lego artist Evan Bacon!
This model took me three months to build, it is fully glued and contains between 15,000-20,000 Lego bricks! it weighs around 60 pounds and is almost hollow all the way through.
I debut Batman at Brick Fiesta a new Lego convention in Austin, TX. it also won three awards for Best artistic, Best youth creation and publics choice award!
Plus Jim Foulds attended with the new Community relations coordinator, Kevin Hink! This page also has pictures of the building process and sections of Batman, Batman is in three pieces for easy transportation!
This is the first of many models I'm planing on building! come to Brick Fiesta next year to see more!
Thanks for viewing please comment!

Amazing, simply amazing! I can not believe someone did this!!!!! I mean stunning. And a 13 year old made it!!!!! You should get a account on Lego Ideas, and put this on there I would support in a heartbeat!!!!! Still can not believe it!!!!! You should do more of them like Ben 10, Iron Man, Flash, etc. !!! |

What the...? You're thirteen? THIRTEEN?! This is astonishing! Official LEGO employees astonishing! I'm genuinely shocked - what a brilliant creation. If only some of the other 13 year olds on MOCpages could see this, it might awaken them to what a really good builder actually is. 5 stars |

Impressive, I haven't met many TFOLs with builds (and budgets apparently) larger and better than ones by AFOLs. Very nice. |

That is simply incredible! Care to give us a bit of an insight into how you designed this? Excellent work.
Also, you should add this to some groups so that more people see it, as this is amazing.
For the design I did alot of sketching and practicing before I glued the model.
I also had a bunch of reference pictures of Batman, so I could get all
the muscle right! |

Fantastic model! I would've loved to have seen that in person being such a huge Batman fan.
If you would like to see it, I display Batman constantly in the austin area. I also have plans of bringing him to Brick Fiesta 2011! |
