A working electric outboard motor with a rudder and vertical stablizers
About this creation
This is my first prototype of a working electric outboard motor. It has two propellers, two vertical stablizers, and one rudder. It uses a Lego M-motor(8883) to power the propellers. The next prototype will include remote controls for the rudder and the outboard motor. Tentatively - I'm testing the mechanical parts using an AA battery box. For its maiden bathtub trial ( with a fixed rudder setting) - I'm planning to install it onto the hull of a Lego City Police boat(7287). In the photo, its standing on a custom mount.
