I had this designed since winter but never had the will or pieces to finish it. I tried to make it as simple as possible while keeping the detail intact.
This was my test of the Hero Factory pieces. I really like the texture they can give to a MOC but they're not easy to use. I connected each armor piece using a ball joint and decimated my supply. I used about 100 in this model.
The tail technique is new and I'll post it later on. It relies on ball joints for movement so it can't hold itself up entirely. But it can pose well.
Wow! Totally amazing. This is masterly build, the only point, and i'm so sorry i have to say that, is the proportions. I'm so reminded of horse...a bit shorter back legs, a bit longer neck...but perhaps i'm not an expert with dragons. And finally i don't want to spoil something, it's still an excellent creation.
Oh my god, you've done it again. It was a shock that your display at brickfair had so little people around it, but you work is frickin awesome! This is the best bio thing I've ever seen, and my sister agrees! Thanks for making my jaw drop every time!
Wow! Despite its moderate size, it is still superbly well done with carefully chosen parts. I am semi retired as I don't purchase any more parts but seeing how useful these new parts are, I am being enticed to go back buying new parts.

Amazing job! As usual. How is the neck base structure made? I tried something similar shape-wise in a MOC, but the HF armor didn't fit too well... Anyway, awesome creation, truly inspiring.
