After watching Batman Begins the other night i felt inspired to make a couple of Batman MOCs.
About this creation
Here we have a mini Tumbler with bonus Bat symbol. Thanks to CyberFrank for the brainwave. There are a lot of awesome Tumblers on this site already (Chris Roaches and Tommy Mizzones spring to mind) but there's always room for one more :)
I've not seen one this size before and i'm loving the way this came together.
I tried hard to get it as accurate as possible for this small scale, and it was fun making the uber angular bodywork. The one thing i'm not 100% happy with is the front between the wheels, it should be more slopey but hey it's not a biggie.
It even opens up to reveal the closest thing i could find to Batmans head. Unfortunately i was in a dark age when they released the Batman Lego series and people hold you to ransome for the minifigs on ebay etc. Bring on the new Marvel and DC range. Cant wait for that :)
Hope you like it, would be nice to hear from you if you do :)
I know, I've seen this one more than once. I can't believe that I haven't posted a comment, yet... Shame on me. For me this is one of the best small scale Tumblers on MOCpages. The look is very cool and "greebly" like the original. There is some great parts usage here and there, especially the mask used for the cockpit. Great job! :-))
Wow, I totally missed this! Thanks for your comment and mentioning them! This Tumbler is so cute ^_^, due to a (slight) deformation in the proportions However all the right features are there which makes it still look like a Tumbler! Great job!
Love the mini tumbler. My I didn't realize how much detail and design you can get out of so few bricks. Exporing on MOCpages is what inspired me to try some minis of my own. Also of you get a chance check out: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/286925 I am really happy how it turned out and am a little surprised it has got noticed more. It must be everyone is focusing on the M.O.
