The precursor and teaser to my Movie Accurate Fellowship of the Ring MOC. After several months of buying, trading, and perusing and purchasing on BrickLink, I have aquired (and still am maintaining) the most movie accurate Fellowship LEGO can make. Every aspect of this character was examined: Head, hair, legs, arms, torso, utensils and weapons. Only Boromir is complete so far, but the other 8 members of the fellowship are coming soon, with the same depth an accuracy.

Chris, I must say that while I'm not a huge fan of non-purism, your figs are some of the nicest quality and cleanest custom figs I have ever seen. |

First of all, for the future, people are more likely to respond to your comments if you (1) give it an "I like it" (4 or 5 stars), and (2) if you ask nicely and give feedback. But, since you are new, I will bypass that for know and answer your question. It is the General Crix Madine head from the STARWARS set: "Home One Calamari". The set was $129.99 and I never bought the set. However I traded for the head. You can buy it off a BrickLink seller for about $1. I then used a pencil eraser to erase the beard's sideburns to make it a goatee instead of a full beard. Unless you have the Home One it is a long, careful, and expensive process. Plus you must not be a purist. But the end result is worth it. ~Christopher |

Sweet! looks awesome, but what did you use for the boss on the shield?
That detail will be better explained in my full "Movie Accurate Fellowship", it is the sanded down top of a BrickForge turban, painted silver. Thanks for your comment! |

YOU ARE AWESOME!!! You've nailed all my favorites! LotR, Star Wars, Princess Bride, Christianity in legos, You should see the movie "Just Visiting" it is about a knight who accidentally goes to modern times. I think you would like it because it is in the same genre as the forementioned topics you clearly like. What materials do you use to alter the pieces? |

By far the most accurate and well constructed Boromir on the 'pages. There is SO much attention to detail in this minifig, and the work you put into this guy is beyond worth it. Well done! |
