X-303 (Wraith)
This is the X-303 commonly dubbed "the wraith" by the personnel in the Andoran Military. She was made to be as un-aerodynamic as possible for greater maneuvering capabilities to avoid the more advanced surface to air missiles of the day.
About this creation
This is a fairly old creation of mine, so it won't be of the caliber of my more recent stuff, The only reason I don't have it in the "old stuff" folder is I am currently using it for a Group-Game.

The cockpit, I'm going to let you make that joke yourself.

A picture of the wing, the solution for the change in stud direction is a state secret, classified.

Those bigass engines I was talking about, the ones that go 4.47 mach. ;)

The tail fin. You know, for stability.

I hurt myself...

Retractable landing gears, so the pilot doesn't crash and die a horrible fiery and bloody death.

Greebles. well, kinda... lets call them half-greeb's.

-------------------------------------Now were getting into the weapons-------------------------------------

A picture of some of each of the weapons, detatched from the wing for a better view.

This is a MINI-SCUD, in the real universe the Soviets made the Scud missiles. But in this one, the Andorans made them. The Scuds were developed 50 years ago for intercontinental defense, but were decommissioned after the TITAN rocket family was introduced 30 years ago. During the X-300 program the MINI-SCUD was recommisioned for its effectiveness as a gravity-drop bomb. It carries a 13 ton payload. The X-303 is equipped with 2 of them.

The M-407 heat seeking missile has air-air/air-ground capabilities but is primarily used for dogfighting. Its has enough fuel for a burn time of 12 minutes and has an 850 pound payload which is more than enough to cripple any aircraft. The X-303 is equipped with 14 of them.

This is the G-2 Scatter missile, which also has heat seeking capabilities. It is used primarily for mobile ground targets but can be used to target aircraft. It has a one ton payload and breaks apart into 16 smaller missiles with a 125 pound payload each. After separating and scattering to about 5-15 meters apart from each other, they converge back into a tight group 15-20 yards from the taget then blow it to pieces. Plus it's more difficult to hit 16 smaller targets than one big chunky one. Its burn time is 18 minutes. The X-303 is equipped with 14 of these babies too. (This is an optional armament, if used for dog fighting like it normally is, it only carries 2-4 of these if any and extra M-407's).

This is the M-70 chain gun, A rotating .60 calibre belt fed menace. It has two barrels and a rate of fire of 1300 rounds a minute. It is accurate to about 2 miles. While this isn't on the plane, I added it to the end of the MOC anyway.

i understand the maneuverability factor but if this thing ever wanted to handle mach 4 without turning into a fine dust, it would need to be pretty aerodynamic.

It looks good, but remember, in Confict, manned aircraft can only get up to Mach 3.
