The DC-17 interchangeable weapons system was a blaster that could utilize four different weapon attachments. It had a stock mount attachment(no clue what is so "stock mount-y" about it, that's just what it's called), a blaster attachment, a sniper attachment, and an anti-armor attachment.(didn't build the AA attachment though, I didn't have the right pieces.) The DC-17 was the weapon used by Clone Commando's during the Clone Wars. These first pictures are of the stock mount attachment.
About this creation
You can find out about, and see pictures of the gun here:
These are all of the attachments. From top to bottom: stock mount attachment, blaster attachment, and the sniper attachment. Next to those are the two different clips, and the removable sight.
This is the other, very plain, side of the gun.(the main picture is of the other side of this gun)
This was a handle design that I have never tried before, I think it turned out pretty good. The handle was originally angled outward, but that proved to be too weak and unstable. Now that it is straight, it is less like the original gun, but it is much, much more stable.
The top and bottom segments of the "stock" can fold out to accomodate for the sniper stock.
The three blue tiles that you can see at the top right of the picture are supposed to be the numbers showing how much charge there is left in the gun.(those were the closest i could find to numbers) Below the numbers you can see where the clip is supposed to go.(the gray pieces.) This attachment doesn't use a clip though, so I just put a "substitute" in so there wouldn't be a hole.
Top view of the gun.
This is where the attachments attach and detach. Right now, there's nothing attached.
FROM HERE ON, THE PICTURES WERE TAKEN WITH MY IPOD AND ARE THEREFORE NOT AS GOOD QUALITY.
This is the unattached stock mount attachment.
Close up of the unattached blaster attachment.
The attached blaster attachment. This is my personal favorite.
This is the clip for the blaster attachment.
The unattached sniper attachment.
The end of the sniper atatchment. Sorry thats it's so blurry.
The front of the sniper attachment.
The sniper attachment attached. Notice that there is no sight near the stock at the back of the gun. The sight is only used for the other two attachments.
I thought this view looked cool.
Down the sights. I donít know if you can see this, but itís supposed to be aiming at a super battle droid.
In my hand.
Sorry, I don't know why the letters got bigger all of the sudden.

I love the different attachments, i was way too lazy too do any of them! They look great what are you working on now?
Well thanks! I'm sure I could make a better one now if I tried. Probably not as good as yours though, I'm still amazed at how good it looks! Currently, I'm working on an M16A1. Its been finished for quite awhile now, but I'm having some computer troubles and am unable to upload it.(I'm on this website now via mobile device).

I have a name for stuff like this. AWESOME! this is just incredible!
Thanks. I don't think I've seen anybody else build a full-size DC-17(which I would like to see). I wish people would build full-size one's instead of minifig-size. The next gun I will be posting is yet another Uzi.
