"Build a small army (more like strike force size) complete with infantry, hardsuits, vehicles and maybe even a small mech or two. You don’t have to show them in a base or on assignment but the more you put in, the more you’ll get out of it."
As I have not built that much, each category is a new adventure.
But once you got the idea and the MOC is developing into the right direction the fun is taking over.
Then it apruptly ends when you do not have the right brick, the right coloured brick, the right amount of bricks or the right amount of right coloured bricks.
So you put your idea into the dustbin and build something completely different.
And sometimes in the end it is even better than if you have finished your first idea with the right brick, the right colored brick,..., you get the picture.
If some of you start to wonder who is behind those guns, I added some aditional pics.
First the inevitable figs on a plate. I forgot the plate though.
The infantry with a support quad
And a mobile forces scouting vehicle
The heavy artillery is not really 'small' but I got a little caried away with this
This makes the complete squadron
In the end you have to be careful what you are saying
Congrats on the win. A nice job, overall. I particularly like the design of the scout vehicle. The mech has a couple of interesting techniques in there, but for the most part, feels a tad blocky compared to the nice lines of the other vehicles. Good job on the figs as well - a consistent look, and though colorless for the most part, very fitting for a military MOC. Given you've already got two of the three, and Dave's withdrawn, this is a bit of a moot point...but, for what it's worth you've got my vote as well. See ya in round 3!
