I got two of the Minifigure Series Five 'figs today. They weren't exactly the ones I wanted, but I still like them. I tried feeling around, but I made some mistakes. I needed to do something with these guys immediately, and so viola.
Who knows why there's a beefeater in the middle of the woods? Not me.
I would've taken more pictures, but my camera died on me, and all of the batteries I tried died before I could take more. Just my luck. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed.
EDIT: On 11/2/11, I went to Target, and bought two more 'figs. I felt the bags up, and got the ones I wanted. That's what I usually do, but this time there was confusion. I got the fisherman, and gladiator. I wanted the fisherman, so I could finish my science project. I'll post it soon.
Well, I'm Sure You Already Know That There's A Lack Of Photos, But I Have To Admit, The One Photo Gave Me A Chuckle, Seeing That It Appears That The Clown Is Using Some Sort of Pie Vision, And The Idea Of Pies Materializing From A Clown Staring You Down Made Me Laugh. Nice Work On This, Add More Photos When You Have The Chance.
Cool vig. Although you said you tried to feel for the figs, don't feel bad if you sit at Target for hours feeling though LEGO figs on rack after rack. (I do!) However, the little secret is to first shake the pack really hard so all the little parts fall to the bottom of the bag. The platform, instructions, and usually the legs and torso will get stuck up at the top of the bag between the instructions and baseplate, and all the accessories will be at the bottom. Then find something that feels simliar (No here is the long part) work that item to the CORNER OF THE BAG until you are pressing on it so hard it is isolated in the bag's corner and you can focus all your attention on identifying it. Once you figure out what it is (let's say you figured out it was a Banana) you just have to remeber which fig has a banana. (In this case it is the zookeeper). Now sometimes the object is harder to identify, and you must mentally run through your mind as to what all 16 figs are and their individual accessories, and sometimes this will trigger your memory as to what the accessory might be, at which point you may then work on varyifying your guess. Always try to work on pushing to the corner only the items that will be easiest to identify. Hope this helps next time so you get the one(s) you want. (believe me, the method works. I have not picked a wrong fig in 20 some tries with this method). Great vig!~Christopher
Nice little scene you have here. Funny too! The beefeater guy is the easiest to find I think because of the hat. BTW you can find the codes to find out which fig is which. They are little dots on the bottom seam of the packaging. Just research them online and hopefully that will help you find the ones you want.
