This is a small post to add a few things into my Navy, as it is very barren. I have a Carrier, The Fenrisulfur. And an RBP, Rig Base Platform.
About this creation
The aircraft carrier in the picture is the Fenrisulfur. Named after the late Colonel Fenrisulfur, He had recieved the Launa Viršing for his heroics In the last war. He was fighting his way inland after an amphibious landing. His unit had set off a mine, killing 2 and injuring the rest, including him. He ripped out the shrapnel and cauterized it with his combat knife. He then proceeded to treat and carry his entire team into a thick shrove that would offer needed cover until a roving medical unit could extract them. As he was carrying his last man back, he was jumped by a platoon of about 22 men. Pulling out his knife, he managed to kill or fataly injure 20 of the 22 that jumped him, the lest two ran for fear of their life. but he was stabbed twice in the fight. Fenrisulfur managed to drag his last comrade to the cover position and hold out untill he saw a medical Jeep drive close, he set off a smoke and waited for rescue. Only 4 members of his team died, 2 in the explosion, and two of their wounds, including him. The Launa Viršing was awarded posthumous.
The deck tower.
Picture of the whole thing from a birds eye view.
__________Now were getting into the RBP (Rig Base Platform)__________
While this technology is possible right now in reality, it not very practicle because of the amount of Islands we have. But in conflict, there are no Islands, except maybe this one; So, with no islands, Andora made this, the RBP.
Both of the ships that are used to construct the RBP.
Side of the small ship, this one carries most of the crew.
The back side of it.
Side of the large ship, this one is used for transporting the large structures.
The rear end.
This is the RBP after it has been erected, it takes a process of about two weeks to fit the whole thing together. The process is cut really short by the fact that most of the entire platform is modular.
The only downside to the RBP is that EVERYTHING is used to construct it, even the boats. So this is pretty permanent, meaning you better put it down in the right spot.
The whole platform.
The tower, every member of the crew rests here, including the Marines, Army and Air Force personel.
The dock, instead of a rigid platform, it floats on the water and moves up and down with the swells and waves.
The cracking towers, This particular RBP was deployed on top of an oil reservoir.
The Various systems are contained here including the water recycler, fresh water extractor, heating and air conditioning, oil storage tanks and other things. Plus, its a great training facility for the posted Military personel.
Very nice. Although in my opinion a moving rig would be better.
I like it

I really like the concept of such a military base at sea. I planned making such a thing myself as a mobile fortress at sea, but it was never constructed. This gives me some inspiration to do my own. Great job
