Combined Space Police Navy/Marine Corps Heavy Siege Battlecruiser CBHS-1 S.P.S. Conquest (Never Completed)
About this creation
The Goal The basic idea behind the Conquest was enormity. I wanted everything huge; huge guns, huge engines, huge hangers, huge bow. You name it. Then I stalled about a third of the way through when my job required me to transfer across the country and put all my stuff in storage for the better part of eighteen months. As a result, almost the entire ship was broken down, never to be rebuilt or finished.
The Story The Space Police Navy and Marines combined to design the Conquest class in an effort to combine the Marine Corps' dropships and Navy's fire support into one ship. The theory was to utilize the four 18” Compressed Particle Cannons to reduce any planetary based shield generators or weapons systems, then land Marines and equipment from three launch bays.
Very impressive! It looks like you are still away from The Pages but if you return I would love to see some more ships from you. I served in the Marines; don't meet too many fellow military men on The Pages, glad to find one. Anyway, I enjoy all of your ships and really like the functional/purposeful aspects of your builds. If you check out my home page you may (or may not) agree with what I wrote. Oh, and, I do like the bow, it is different - in a good way!
Wow, what a whale of a ship! It's too bad you never finished it but even like this it was epic. This is the sort of scale other builders talk about for years after seeing it. And it took guts to go with wings that long and a bow that serious, most builders would shy away from things like those since they make the model difficult to display in the long run. Really a great job.
To bad the ship never got done LT. but speaking out of rank it was awesome. Was the dropship saved atleast. But 4 out of 5 for not being done it makes me so sad to do this. Makes me remember my failures
I like it

"Super-size Me!" fits well with your MOC! Wow. Astounding amount of detail.
Nice... Nice... The Space Police live on! I love the Space Police Figs, but got into lego two years too late to get em... I Actually resorted to filching three from a freind that was selling his stuff on Ebay... I love the ship, It really dwarfs my SHIP...I was lucky to make it 100 studs... Anyways, here's to a great concept, stunning appearance and to breathing life into a concept ( The Space police ) I long though dead! cheers - Tayasuune
Holy Christmas! That is a BIG ship! Excellent construction and detailing. Not sure about the bow design...I think I see where you were going with it but I'm not not sure it matches the rest of the ship IMO. I shouldn't complain though because this ship is stunning! Nice dropship too!
This is certainly a great piece of engineering, and very outstanding. I am astounded at its complexity, though if I may make some suggestions, the ship itself is not quite aesthetically pleasing. I don’t really know why, but it just doesn’t hit with me. Also, a background, and perhaps some Photoshop work would really help show it off better; as it is, its kind of hard to see its profile. Other than that, I really like the rear and mid section of the ship, and its interior is one of the best I have seen. It looks seamless almost, and seems to be sturdy at that. Keep up the good work.
