AOE FA-77 "Death Hawk" Air Superiority Fighter
The AOE has announced the release of a new top of the line air superiority stealth fighter, designed for multi-role strike capabilities while remaining undetected. This aircraft was built in part to counter the air superiority fighter releases of countries such as Montrovia and Tongoria.
About this creation
But first, the AOE has also released a new point-defense sentry gun. And as Nemesis has said, "Sentry Guns FTW!"

Also, the AOE has completed a new prototype aerial recon drone, the Wasp.

These weapons were released in person to a select few: representatives from Belgica And the BU, as well as AOE military leaders.

Starting at the front (this shot turned out really cool), I used a nose technique I had seen somewhere before. The nose comes forward slightly to let the cockpit open. Also in this shot, notice the frontal cannon for close-range dogfights.

This shows the interior of the hangar. It is a little bit barebones, but its really big so I didnt feel like getting complicated.

The aircraft of course also has working landing gear. A pain to make, but totally worth it.

Here is a view of the Death Hawk from below with all landing gear extended. In between them is the weapons bay.

This is the belly of the craft with all hatches and bays closed. I like the two-tone look of the underside. It all ended up folding nice and neat too, so it looks very sleek and stealthy.

Weapons bay open. It can carry four Vyper medium-range air-to-air missiles, as shown. It could can also carry one small air-to-ground cluster bomb (not shown). Of course, the air-to-air missiles can be replaced with air-to-ground when not facing airborne targets.

In addition, the Death Hawk has external hardpoints to mount other weapons, of course sacrificing some of its stealth. Maximum external load is four missiles of varied types and two air drop fuel tanks to extend operational range.

This is an above view of the aircraft. The profile is somewhere between a Yf-23 and an F-22 Raptor.

The Death Hawk has minimal frontal silhouette to avoid radar detection, aided by its absorbent skin.

The rear stabilizer fins can rotate independently, and the poweful jet has quadrilateral thrust vectoring, giving it an edge in maneuverability in any fight. While not as fast as the Phoenix, the Death Hawk surpasses it in maneuverability.

The pressurized single-seat cockpit also has an advanced heads-up-display (HUD) a must in any advanced fighters.

I apologize that this is being posted nearly a week late, but school has been interfering a bunch lately. Im glad Ive seen it through though, this jet is one of my favorite Mocs I have created thus far. I especially apologize to Nemesis and Brickviller. But at least its up now.

Enjoy, rate, and comment! I appreciate any and all feedback!

Wicked fighter, Dude! Nice work on the hangar, too, always good to have a setting for a build like this.

Hey Josh I saw you just joined D&C3 but it already ended. These groups run on a yearly basis, and we had set a date in which D&C 4 would start up.

Sleek looking fighter, though it looks a bit odd without the vertical surfaces. But the rotating fins (for the life of me, can't remember what their called right now) is a definite plus. The missile bay in the belly fuselage is a great touch, and overall good design. The back section of the cockpit looks a little blocky though. Also, loved the AA Sentry gun. Nicely done. ^Blub^

Almost everyone has switched to WWII building. Heres what youve been missing, Conflict broke down after some problems with the rules, and Matt P created conflict II, a WWII group. The new conflict has easier rules, for the most part, and the map isnt gridded. You expand into NPC (non player countries), and it takes a bit longer than before. And the new map is much bigger, and theres more room. Theres also a incredible terrain map being made by awe (another builder) Also my new country is called the Belkaustan Confederation. Its mainly based off of WWI, and II germany, more than before seeing as its in the same time period. Im curretly working on a large dio, that will be better than any of my previus one, it will be detailed, and will take place on a sandy road. Theres not much else besides that.
