This is my entry for the PokeMOC League 2011 Tournament!!! My category was Rain Forest, and I think I captured the rain forest feel pretty well in my entry. My opponent was Owl the Owl. The dio is of Jordan walking through the rain forest on Route 321 toward Bergey City. He is searching for wild Pokemon on the way...
Thanks for Owl the Owl for being a great opponent and Cody G for postponing the deadline. I would have posted this earlier, but I was having technical difficulties :D
It's your birthday? Awesome! anyway, Hello. We would like to inform you that you are a contestant of the torunamocff and there are only 6 days until the next round comes up. I have told everyone the same message so that they can be warned that round 2 will end soon. If you would like to drop the contest, that is fine, but if not, you will continue you're judging responsibilites (if you are a judge) and place your entrie in topic. Remember, only 6 more days. Hey Man, Let's See, Let's See. All right, so this will be broken down into two main portions, Diorama and Pokemon. The Diorama, while very well made and packed with detail, felt very boring due to the overwhelming amount of green. In some areas you did add some contrasting features to help break the effect, but overall the 'Green Effect' reined supreme. Now the story aspect felt right, having a Pokemon battle is a classic setup. The Pokemon, I have to admit, some of your Pokemon were recognizable, but I felt like overall, your MOCs were rather simplistic, even by the scale's standards. I expected slight more from you in that area. To be honest, I didn't notice some of the Pokemon in the Diorama until you brought them to my attention later on in the page and looked over the scenes once more. So, overall, I feel that you had some strong point in the MOC but there are key aspects that feel lacking, and that killed the mood to some degree. Oh, please try to say something when making review request in the future, it's mainly to help me understand what each builder is asking for. I want people to be in the habit of writing something when making request. I would hate it if I had a bunch of people simply posting links in the Review Section, as this may lead to issues.
