Defenses for the Conflict island of La Isla.
About this creation
Made for the group Conflict

La Isla Island is a small jungle island that is heavily populated with all sorts of plant life and foliage. As such, the government has designed it's military off guerrilla warfare, and many of its defenses rely heavily on stealth.

Old War Tanks:
Before the turmoil that brought about Conflict, the world used tanks that were slow, armored, and deadly. Dozens of these old world tanks were discovered (With estimates of dozens more still undiscovered) in the jungles of La Isla, and the government decided to put them to good use--defending the inland jungles from surprise invasions from the west.

While no longer able to move (Which is even a problem for modern tanks in the dense jungles of Isla) they are still able to shoot, and with decades of plant life overgrowing them, they soon became powerful defensive "bunkers."

Bunkers/Fox holes

In keeping with her guerrilla tactics, the military of Isla Island created hundreds of fox holes to help protect the northern jungles from surprise invasions.

Scout Helicopters:
With Isla Island being 80% jungle, it's important for the government to be able to spot incoming attacks. Thus the Scout Helicopter was produced (Cheaply). With virtually no armor, the Helicopter can fly at amazing speeds, all while searching the jungles for rivals. In addition to it's one pilot it is also able to carry small crates of supplies--generally bananas, to and from military bases. It is equipped with a small machine gun for defense, but generally the mission of the Scout Helicopter is to get in, search, and get out.

It's not an original idea. Isla Island was the fictional location and home of a "Generalisimo" in American Dad episode "Moon over Isla Island".

The tank resembles an old Cromwell - one of my favorite designs. Great innovation on your storyline! Cheers!

Great job! I like the idea of using old tanks as bunkers. I like the details you put on the tank. Also, the Scout heli looks very good, perfect for its role. Keep up the good work!

Quoting Nemesis º It seems sortof steampunk. Although the tanks are out dated, they seem to be able to serve there purpose. They are wonderful to look at, great job.
Well my next creation (90% complete, an will be posted today) is not steam-punk at all. It's sleek, smooth, black, and EMP hardened!
