About this creation
A small town in the state of Colorado in the year of 2015
Caleb lay still in the darkness, deep in thought.
Caleb hoped that Amy had understood the message, he hoped so. If so, then he was still pretty much screwed. No one was coming for him. But at least everyone else was safe. He wondered what his capturers would do to him when they didn't show up. Probably beat him, get information from him, beyond that, he had no idea. He hoped that by then he would have escaped. He was pretty sure that he was in the Mexican Hills; a small group of hills a few miles from town. He could probably be able to make it back to town before the ruffians caught him. It would be close. There was possibility that he might run into one of the search parties. But would he make it? He sighed. He'd find out tonight.
Duel shot was on guard duty, it was obvious he was nodding off.
Caleb only had little longer to work his plan.
Tonight, then he'd try.
It had been a whole day since Caleb had called them. They had only one more day to choose. If it was really a trap, then they couldn't risk sending five men in. The same group that had met just one day ago was now in the sheriff's office once again. Nobody spoke for a few minutes.
"Any idea's?," asked the sheriff,"They're ALL welcome."
Garet was the first to talk. "I have an Idea. But it's crazy and dangerous."
"We're listening," Michael prodded.
"We take the bait. we go in, we do everything he says, but we send our five strongest men, with the best aim and we take them. There could only be 9 of them! With some luck, we could either fight our way to Caleb, or if we get him, fight our way out."
"You're right, it is dangerous, but I like it!" Michael said with enthusiasm.
"Who'll we take though?" Asked Johnston.
"Me, Doc, Garet, Beckmann, and one of his soldiers," Michael said.
