Retooled, redesigned, the Mark III has gotten a major facelift.
About this creation
Since its construction, the Kerykeion Mark III has been Corusa Industries' mainstay product, a versatile and powerful weapons platform available for sale in most corners of the galaxy. Defined by high cost with performance worth every cent, rumors abound of the company's frequent practice of selling at more affordable prices to freedom fighters and certain independent purchasers. The company's own defense and exploration fleets use the Mark III as their workhorse, with countless personalized variants.
Standing at 20 meters tall, the standard-issue Mark III is a lightly armed frame, coming standard with twin beam submachineguns in each wrist. These guns fire small flechettes of superheated plasma, doing only modest damage to most armor but possessing enough power to shoot down incoming missiles as well as finish off weakened opponents. The Mark III is also compatible with most standard firearms, including several built specifically for it, and comes with hardpoints on the legs, forearms, and backpack for mounting specialized equipment.
Mobility-wise, the Mark III is superb, with gravitic thrusters throughout the frame providing it high mobility in both space and atmosphere with no need for propellant. Normally such a system is very energy-intensive, but the Mark III's greatest strength its its energy supply, the black-box technology known as the Vitas Engine. Protected by security and self-destruct mechanisms that maintain its exclusivity, the Vitas Engine is a type of perpetual motion device which utilizes the flow of life energy throughout the universe to provide it with a continually-replenishing energy supply. In addition, surges in pilot morale can cause the engine's output to briefly spike, improving the machine's overall performance. It is rumored there are certain limiters placed on the Vitas Engine when sold that are not present on the version used by Corusa Industries' own units, but the nature and purpose of these limiters is as much a mystery as the technology itself.
Despite the mysteries surrounding it and the secretive nature of its creators, the performance and effectiveness of the Mark III cannot be ignored. While its high cost means it will never take dominance of the galactic market, for those able to afford it there is no substitute.
not bad, I'm seeing a lot of techniques here that zizy2 and forte noir use, did you take any inspiration from elsewhere?
the colour choices are great, I may have to use them myself for my next cyberagent.

This reminds me of something... Did you used to post on Design By ME? if so, what was your username?
I don't recall doing so, but the Mark III's been through a few iterations before now since being created in 2009. The original frame was a lot weaker and harder to customize, though it had a bit more joint flexibility. It's the same machine in-universe, so the name remains the same.
