About this creation
A heavy weapon that charges beams of blue plasma. Something new from me for a change.

Like usually, I put some challenge on the build and added a mechanism.

If you spin the disc on top, the barrel rolls.

I couldn't hide the gears completely.

Jorge: I love big guns! <=D

The cannon held by Agrotis. PS. He's got new toes.

So yeah, a small moc in the color theme of Finland, as today is Finland's independence day. (December 6)

Some Finnish history:
In 1917, when the Soviet Union was formed, Finland gained independency from it, having a good chance under the Russian situation. It was due to happen, as Finland already had autonomical position under the rule of Russia, which conquered the area from Sweden in the years 1808-09 in the War of Finland. Being centuries part of the Swedish Empire, Russia had to make itself look good for Finland back then, in fear of rebellion and resistance during the conquers of Napoleon. This was when Finland was given autonomical status to calm the nation.

In 1939 happened the 'Shots of Mainila', where Soviets blamed Finland for bombarding the village of Mainila. No actual proof was shown though and Finns were anyway in Sunday church. The shots were an excuse, as the Soviets attacked Finland in terms of adding it to the east block and so the Winter War began. The area was important tactically, due it being close to Soviet Union's largest city, Leningrad (St. Petersburg these days). The Finnish resistance was victorious and a temporary peace was made in spring 1940.

As Hitler launched the Operation Barbarossa in 1941, Finland took part in it from its own border, with Germans attacking from Lapland and Finns from south. (The Continuation War) New areas were gained, but eventually the tides turned and we lost the war, losing areas, including part of Karelia, which is an area Finns take certain pride from and sometimes want returning it to Finland.

Back then we had no technological advantage, nor proper weaponry, as we invented the Molotov cocktails and used makeshift clothing on the field. After World War 2, we grew very fast in industry and these days are on the top countries of technology. You might know the Nokia cellphones and the Angry Birds game for example ;)

So yeah, happy independency for the Finns out there. Finland's now 94 years old.

I would have given the weapon to Monarth, but he's going through a 'transformation' at this moment ;) I'd like to also point out that from now on Agrotis is my secondary self-moc.

I hope you liked this and leave some comments and rates below =]

Okay, now my reaction to your critique 1. The Stars foot fits in pretty nicely 2. I've tried EVERYTHING to put some shoulder in ANY way! And I can't moove the chest up or his head would stick up 3. I've tried a lot of designs for head gear. This is the best I could of done 4. I have some plans for that actually. For a over hand knife! >:D

I love it! Don't worry about exposed gears; I think they add depth and a level of added awesome to mechanical builds, especially when they're actually functional.
