LTC Devastator, Part 1: Bonecrusher
Yep, my first in two things. One, my first LTC combiner, and two, my first devastator MOC. Unlike the G1 menasor, which I entered in the ultimate legoformer contest, this one will consist of five figures, each with a vehicle, robot and combiner mode. First up, bonecrusher. I tried to base it on the first bayformer movie bonecrusher, and it worked out pretty well. I also made the first few accessories to go with it. I won't give instructions yet, because that's for the final part (part six), when they all combine!
About this creation
Okay, here's our first look at bonecrusher in vehicle mode.

At the moment, he's got his cool pick-up-thingy tucked away... I think we should...

...take it out!

Just a quick size comparison. Now last time I promised I wouldn't compare it with commander prime, so this time, I'm comparing it with DOTM deluxe class jolt (purchased last tuesday).

Anyway, time for the transformation.

First, you need to bring the shoulder-pads out to the side.

Then, you need to transform the rest of the chest and the arms.

To do this, first you need to bring out the arms.

Then you need to bring out the mid-torso pads. These also unlock a transformation feature for later.

Then you bring up the hip...

...and finally (not for the whole figure, but just for this part), you bring the legs down.

Now remember how I said that some of the pads unlocked a special transformation feature?

Well, what it is is that the wheel section twists around. Make it horizontal for the best effect.

The final part is to transform the head. It basically comes out of the hook.

And here we have bonecrusher in his robot mode.

Here's another size comparison with jolt. I managed to get his weapon to stay in weaponised mode by using a rubber-band.

I can't show you anything else, because it would ruin the combining part, but here's a sneak peek of some of the accessories!
