In case anyone was wondering, this is what I have for my tank. which is not much.
About this creation
This was taken before I started building. In this picture, you see:
1X AA batery box
2X IR receivers
2X IR remote controls
2X LED lights (lego)
A (not so great) view from the back of the tank, that shows that battery box and the two back motors.
A front view, showing the receivers and two M-motors
I choose two M-motors per track because it offered more power, and it allowed the tank to have an even power balance. (The gears are turning the same rate, causing the tank to go over most hurdles.) Also, a special thanks to Tommy Mizzone for the suspension.
He posted some really good instructions right here: http://www.mocpages.com/moc.php/286307.
All credit for suspension goes to him!!
Quoting Ape Fight
Looking good so far (and very complicated)! Good luck : )
Yeah. The hardest part right now is hiding all the the wires. Origanally, on my last protypes, I didn't worry about the mess on the inside. I just took some plates and covered it up. But now, I want to make the turret rotate, making me have to put a spinning axle and gear in the mess of wire. Basically, it is really complicated!
