24899 bricks! Hi, fellow builders! I've made quite a lot of changes since the last entry. I hope you'll love them! =)
About this creation
The bad news is that I had to reduce my display settings on LDD, by disabling the "Outlines" option, even to take these screenshots.
This option was the one which made the program crash or corrupt display. This draws the line between the bricks, so, it's more beautiful, and it's very convenient, in the designing process, but I'll have to get used to do without it! =(
And here are the main changes:
- Poseidon has now anti-submarine hedgehogs, on the rear(the black and red stuff under the rear main canon)
- the citadel is done or almost. It has now a communication tower. Notice that I'm still not sure about its definitive proportions, I think I'll lower it in the future. And I still have to put some more stuffs, like radars, etc, on it.
- automatic/manned heavy machine gun on the citadel's roof.
- I've started the main rear canon
- There are now some cool ladders on the hull's side.
I'm forgetting some, so I let you see and tell me what think of Poseidon now!
Well, I can see it now! It is more similar to a Vertical Launcher System, rather than the classic hedgehog. Anyway, it is a good multiple launcher, I suppose that it is able to deliver all kind of missiles.
Wow Jay, it just keeps getting bigger and bigger;) I'm speechless right now....I just don't know what to say, How about amazing, excellent, insane, super, incredible or awesome? Anyway great job, ~Justin.
Amazing, it's so cool how this thing is getting bigger and bigger and everatime more detailed. By the way, they are quitting DESIGNbyME, but I don't think they will stop LDD. It's way too good for that. I'd like to have a connection to Pick-A-Brick as a replacement for DbM. That would work cool for me. And you, keep on, you really ARE the LEGO Animal ;-))
Remarkable! It just keeps getting bigger and better :-). I love all the details you crammed into this fine vessel. I hope you've backed up the file somewhere in case your computer dies of a brick overdose lol
OVER 24000 PIECES?! THAT'S SUICIDE FOR YOUR COPY OF LDD!! Now, assuming that the program manages to cling onto those precious few megabytes of RAM, you MUST finish this! It's come too far, and it looks too good for the program to die!!!
Wow! This is epic. Close to 25000 pieces! Me thinks you will be stone broke by the time you build this in bricks :) It looks amazing, the details are stunning. I also like the trident fork design on the stern (I think that means the rear lol ;)
