My annual Christmas Star Wars MOC, right on time as usual.
About this creation
Good morning, afternoon, or evening viewer. Today is something out of the ordinary for me. Kind of. Well, mediocre build, that's normal. However, there is really no message to this Christmas MOC. I couldn't think of a story to tell this year, so you just get to see a story being told instead.
Jedi Knight Esera Corin, and her loyal friend OOM-27, plus a grizzled Separatist volunteer soldier, listen to the story of a very peculiar visitor. She comes from a World very far away, where all life lived in harmony and order, where for everything, there was a time, place, and purpose under Heaven, where the God of All Machines reigned in utmost splendor. The war-weary veterans don't know what to make of this fantastic tale, too strange to be true, too strange to be a lie. But they do know she has traveled very far to get here, and that she can never go home.
In the spirit of an alien holiday from the shattered husk of Aros, they take in the visitor for a little while, while she tells them of her unlikely journey. She will leave soon enough, across time and space, always moving, and going nowhere.
Our friend without lighting effects. She's actually the mobile brain of a mach larger vessel, though rather weak compared to anything else her people could have fielded.
Merry Christmas everyone, I hope yours was as good as mine.
I wager maybe 5 comments at most on this. How about you?
24 hours ago, after exchanging communications with one of your moderators, I re-submitted my request to join your group: Conquest and Consequence. The request has again been denied, and again, no explanation has been provided. While I do not question the prerogative of the group leadership to exclude me from joining, I would appreciate an explanation. If there is a membership criteria I am failing to meet, or if it is simply a matter of not measuring up to your exacting social standards, I would like to know. As one of C&Cs three Administrators I hope you are able to explain why you are not allowing me to join C&Cl. Once again, I thank you in advance.

Thank you for responding. I'm glad to know my inquiries warrant response (See below).
If the group is now closed to new members, I recommend you post a notice in the admin thread saying so. As to why? Simply consider this dialogue as a reason.
As to your observation: "Why you want to join a dying and no longer relevant group is beyond me" I again recommend that you declare yourselves as "Dying and no longer relevant" in a thread in the group. It would have saved me the trouble of trying to join, and you the trouble of providing this warrented responce.
If the group is dying, then put it out of its misery. Right now, C&C is like an open grave with no head stone. By-passers (like me) who are seeking a war group on MOCpages will keep stumbling into it and disturbing the sleep of the dead. MOCpages is full of such open unmarked graves. It would be a genuine public service if simply put up a grave marker in the form of a locked thread stating that the group was closed.
Have fun on Flickr.
Your original response:
"In response to your comment regarding the group Conquest and Consequences: There is simply no more room left for new members, and furthermore, a new group has already begun on Flickr, which can be found here: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1973564@N25/ Why you want to join a dying and no longer relevant group is beyond me, but your attempts warrant a response.

Two days ago, I submitted a request to join your group: Conquest and Consequence. Today I see that my request is no longer pending, but I am not a member of C&C either. As you are 1 of 3 administrators in C&C, I hope you can answer the following questions for me: Has my request to join been denied? If so, will you tell me why? I thank you in advance for your assistance.
As ever, I beg for Droid Trek 7, or at least a viable response for why you will not make it. I almost got excited there. You can't end a story like that! It's been bugging me for years! I found Droid Trek so good, and still do. It must never leave your most-viewed creations, NEVARRR!
