Mass Effect Minifigs
Minifigs based on one of the greatest sci-fi games ever. I did indicate that this was coming.
About this creation
Warning: As I am out of practice with photography, and things in the Lego-area are crowded due to the holidays, a lot of these photos are somewhat blurry. If you want, you could pretend that the pictures were taken on Ilos, where things are sort of blurry and aethereal anyway. Or, you could say that I'm lazy and terrible at photography. To quote a certain hanar merchant, that... is not inaccurate.

Shepard. I didn't actually have her wear the default armour for most of the game, but the armours I used for most of the game were relatively forgettable.

Lest you think I'm actually good at PC gaming, I must own up to the fact that I beat the game on casual. I'm not a big shooter fan, okay? I wanted to focus on the roleplaying.

Ashley. I didn't bother building Kaidan. He didn't survive my playthrough, anyway.

Wrex, on the other hand, did. Unfortunately, I haven't a single clue on how to build Lego krogan. I'll let you know when I figure it out.

Shepard using warp. Sadly, I chose the wrong class to use singularity, but I grew to like warp eventually, anyway. It even worked against the final boss, whereas singularity was pretty ineffective.

Liara. Who does have singularity. And it is awesome. She's just awesome in general, really.

Liara with her helmet on.

Matriarch Benezia. I really liked Benezia's boss music.

A geth trooper.

A geth rocket trooper.

Tali. She and Liara made up my typical squad.

Tali from another angle.

A geth armature.

The armature from the rear.

Another design for the geth trooper, which I'm now calling a geth hopper, because, as stated above, I'm lazy.

A hanar. I really liked the hanar. Not only are they grammar-nazis (like me), but the way their voices echo is really cool. Plus, they're a perfect example of a reasonably well-done sci-fi alien race that isn't even remotely humanoid.

Saren. Now that you see the design I used for him, I probably don't need to explain why I didn't even try to make Garrus. I mean, even if I did have another one of those helmets, there's no way I'm fitting an eyepiece over it.

A microscale Sovereign. Firstly, if you don't know why it's on the minifigs page, you probably have yet to finish the game, so I'm not going to say too much more. On a structural note, I really don't like the way Sovereign turned out. My original design was much better. The tail is the worst part; I couldn't find a way to segment the body properly to give it that distinctive curve.

Sovereign, underside.

Vigil. Because Vigil is awesome, and there's no denying it. Even if you don't like the character, his theme music is awesome.

And, finally, the original design I had in mind for Tali's helmet, before I actually played the game and saw that that wasn't a helmet shaped like a hood; that was an actual hood. So... anyway... Expect Mass Effect 2 minifigs, within the next few months.
