Long range space interceptor inspired by the Universal War One comic books.
About this creation
This is my second model based on a Trihedron concept from Universal War One. I first started with the Trihedron T-RK7 single seat fighter. This time, I created a model inspired from what is described as "the most advanced Trihedron of the fleet" (UW1, book 3).
I imported into my model some of the shape changes like the longer nose and the massive engine exhaust port. The following pictures shows the full length of the ship and the interesting global shape.
I wanted the ship to be double seated, still minifig size and I wanted a better canopy opening system than for the T-RK7.
The skullhead is directly inspired from the excellentBistouri by legodrome.
Image edition has been kindly performed by Jevon Lambright.
I tried to bring more details into the cockpit. It is full of computers, piloting consoles that are blocked into the right position and so on. Minifigs are comfortably installed.
The bottom view shows how massive the main reactor is. It also illustrates quite well the blue and black color scheme.
Both Trihedrons flying side by side. This pictures provides a good sense of scale.

An excellent, brick-built spacecraft. The cockpit is great, especially as its bricks are a different orientation to the rest of the ship. The skull logo in the tail is nicely done too. Good work!
Thank you, David. I must confess that "locking the cockpit into a different orientation" was quite a challenge.
