Can you please give a hint on how you have realized the Incline and decline of the street?
These sections use what's sometimes referred to as "brick bending": using only 1x2 bricks/plates, which can be turned a bit due to the 0.2 mm gap between them. |

If it is possible can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE PLEEAAAAASSSSEEEE send me the plan of this street or some kind of instruction or guide on hows to build this.
Well, I never made any instructions or proper plans for this (nor de I really know what it cost); however, Konstantin made instructions for some of the buildings (with only minor differences) which he's selling at http://shop.konze.org/ – he made them from the photos with only little additional input needed from me, so you could try this too. :) |

Please tell me how and which program you have used for your custom decals?
I used CorelDraw. (Basically, any program that lets you easily specify a size e.g. as 16x32 mm should do.) And printed on old sticker sheets that were originally meant for VHS tapes because I got a lot of them left. :) |

How long did it take you to do this?
Quoting August .
How long did this take you to build?
I don't really know. It's been sitting on the table for months – and that's just since the previous house on the left was completed –, but there has been many a week where I didn't build anything or just a few minutes on a detail that had come into my mind. There were evenings where I spent hours and hardly made any progress, and evenings where it went along nicely...
Quoting Eivind Primotenori
Absolutely brilliant. I love your design of the details. How did you plan this work?
Well, I let the basic idea and the overall look grow in my mind, did a few sketches, calculated the incline (so it would align to the studs at top and bottom) and the ground height I need for each house, tried a few things with bricks (e.g. the curve at the corner), and then "just built it", creating and changing details as I went along; sometimes knowing what I wanted as interiors beforehand, sometimes not. Also throwing those calculations out the window when I decided to add the green Pet Shop copy, and so the road doesn't align to studs but had a 2-plate gap to be filled SNOTed in another direction... |
