Here is a new installment of my tank WIP series. From the last WIP, there has been a lot done. First of all, a new system of gear powers my turntable, which will be shown in some later pics. And also, the main hull plating has ben completed, and the tiles are starting to be placed.
About this creation
Underneath a few tiles, as you can see, is the new system. It works way better then the last one. Once again, thanks to George Staples for inspiration.
A back view. In cae you are wondering, this tank will be modeled after an Abrams series tank. I am not sure if I should do a M1A1 or a M1A2 or even maybe a M1A2 SEP. I will let you vote. Just put the tank you want in the comments, I will see which has the most pupularity, and go from there.
A front view of the whole tank.
And a last view, showing how the worm gear assembly and the turn table mesh. It was a real effort to finally get it done, but now, with it out, it is smooth sailing.
I love the way this tank is looking! i'd say a M1 A2, but then i'm not one to give advice on tank body's. if you have a moment, check out some of my tanks, they're 100% technic so they may give you some cool ideas
