Weapons: Axe, Shield
Story: A great city found a way to make cheese from the milk of the Kane-Ra Cow. (Bulls don't make milk, silly!) The city became world renowned for having the best cheese in the whole world. The city began to get so many thieves that they hired a great inventor to create a giant guardian to guard the cheese stores. Nobody has stolen the cheese since they built Velveeta to this day.
Now, on to the Moc:
Here he is in all his glory! In my opinion, one of the best mocs I've made!
He has a chest turbine! I got the idea after looking at Super Pikmin's Echol. I sorta built this moc with his creations in mind.
The back. Nothing special here.
Jaller: Hey! I'm not dead yet...
Arms. I really like the look of how those two pieces fit together. Did anybody else use this? This time I didn't start with the torso, oddly enough. I managed to use all 15 of Keetongu's V-shaped pieces. Whew.
Back of the arm. Greebles!
Back of the lower arm, some light orange greebles here. They restrict his wrist movement more naturally, as do a lot of things on this moc. It's very humanesqe besides the fact that it looks nothing like a human. The arms also cannot bend backwards.
Front of legs. I did the upper legs last, by that time I was rather low on yellowy parts. Came out well I think. Lower legs are similar to the legs I have on my version of Vored, with shinguards though.
Side of legs. The feet were a bit of a pain to make, but the best thing about this moc is that everything worked out perfectly on this, none of my ideas initially failed, the build was entirely linear. No backtracking on designs like usual.
back of legs. His feet can't move forward much, like a human's. His legs also cannot bend backwards.
His axe. I love the use of the roboriders head, so obviously his axe is named 'power'. An apt name for an axe, don't you think? Used the typical Hewkii's head as an axe technique.
Action pose 1. I took the yellow triforce-ish stickers from meltdown and put them on Velveeta's shield and head. It is the city's crest, a symbol of peace, love, and cheese!
Action pose 2. Running!
Action pose 3
Comparison with Antroz from the Jetrax T-6. A bit taller. I worked on a larger scale this time.
Here is an outline for the scale I usually use. You can't tell here, but the right one is a few studs less tall. A few studs shorter on all his limbs. It comes out in a more giant-chibi look, a bit comical. A little difference changes a lot. I tend to like it.
Mato is a perfect example of my usual scale. See the similarities in limb lengths?
Elaris is another great example. I really just added this pic because I forgot to show you guys his awesome blades of death! They fit him perfectly.
Obligatory comparison with Zerk. Zerk is only a bit taller because of his head's height. They're really about the same height.
Zerk: Eew, cheese all over my hands!
Velveeta: Here's a sneak peek of my new Jordan! That first one kinda sucked, so I made one that's epic for ASR! He'll appear at the end of chapter three. And yes, that's trans-neon-orange. Get ready to hold onto your socks.
Velveeta: These two are always trying to steal my cheese!
Entity: Mmmmmm.... Cheeeeese.....
Great MOC! As judge, sorry I neglected judging or even going on this website for such a long time. I was finally alerted when you commented on one of my creations and I got an Email notifying me. I would like to wait for some more creations to be added. Great MOC though!
I like the technic part usage and originality!Very clever.Tight!
If i may, to help ID the fan/turbine like used in body chest, it is a radiator fan for the Enzo ferrari set.It is also used as brake disk/rotors with a diff decal in other sets.
Fantastic yellow creation! I really like the different head. And is it an Inika-body you used there? It looks very great! You even put many greebles on him, and I also like your design of his body, like the turbine or the pieces (don't know the name) on his front/side. Amazing work!
