Your rapidly reply is highly appreciated.
I have started to study to build the tower for almost two weeks,
But the eight walls just cant be connected very well or it
Can't be put on the standard plate.
I have no hinged plates or brick due to I just back to the lego world last year, only few sets of 7946 and some bricks from bricklink,
May I double confirm below link is the hinged plate and brick u talked about??

Hi Z, I do love the tower gate, and I am trying to build a tower like what u had built but can't figure out the internal structure,
Do u mind if I ask how did u build it??
Not at all. The key here is that I use hinged plates/bricks but the hinge plates are one brick INSIDE the structure. I think you can figure it out from there.
I like your creation, but it has a flaw.
Trebuchets were never placed on battlements, as they would shake the wall/tower; weakening the mortor and causing a collapse.
But that's just life, this is lego.
I don't know how to say this... This creation.. It's just... Completely...
seriously this is absolutely gorgeous! The best gatehouse I think I've ever seen! It's so grand and architecturally splendid!!
This is astounding! Wonderful details, and also very realistic looking. Some castles on MOCpages tend to look like they've been built by people who've never seen one. This is nice and chunky and reflects the typical architecture very well. One of my favourite castle creations ever : ) 5 stars
