Vvespid-class Light Interceptor
Another contribution the the VV corpus.
About this creation
I had wanted to contribute something during Nnovvember, but alas, a trip to India and the whole college thing intervened. In any case, this was a fun little fighter to build and is pretty swooshable, though the front prongs sometimes decide they'd be better off as detachable modules...Anyway, enjoy.

The Vespid-class Light Interceptor is a swift and agile fighter designed purely for combating enemy fighters. It is armed with twin X-ray lasers, but no heavier ordinance to engage larger ships. These fighters are the best chance that normal humans have to contribute something to space combat in an era dominated by hypercomputers and spirit-beings. Indeed, drone fighters are still the preferred fighter compliment of most warships, but human-piloted fighters such as the Vespid can still be found throughout Imperial fleets.
