Jt12/1 "The Judge" LDD
modified version of the j12 frame.
About this creation

Shown above the Jt15/1 "Advocate" upgrade.

Jt12/1 "The Judge".

Ok the name, J=January, an experiment for 2012 will be to label new mecha after the month they are created in. Might get confusing in June and July, we'll see. t=Thursday, added to distinguish between this and the previous J12/a. 12=2012, though it could also refer to the 12th of January (today) and 1=January, though it could also refer to this as the prototype version of this frame variant.

"The Judge" relates to the peculiar head design which I thought looked a little like a judge's wig (this being a British judge of course).

Technically this and the J12/a are part of something new, not aligned to my previous mecha concepts. Not sure if I'm going to write them into one of the CyberAgent time lines or just reboot with an entirely new concept. I'll see how the next attempt at the same basic frame works out.

As you can see from the pictures below he's armed with two guns, which are holstered on his hip (rather than at his waist like the J12/a) and a hammer weapon strapped onto his back.

The design is a hybrid again. Elements of the frame are taken from the CyberSkulls frame I did some time ago, while others are directly taken from the more recent frames of the J12/a and the Dark Knight.

I've deliberately made the shoulders shorter and the collar was added to disguise the neck, something I wasn't happy with in my previous design.

The foot design is sort of new, more versatile than the J12/a. I've also slimmed down the limbs to give the impression this is more of a light unit for urban use, rather than a military unit for combat zones.

One massive change from the previous design is the waist area, which is much smaller and less detailed. While offering less armour and detail, it makes up for it in more posing options.

(I've added the crotch clip because I was thinking of adding a forward "skirt" to disguise the crotch area. But decided in the end it wasn't needed).

[All Units, robbery in progress at grid reference 004/009. Justice vehicle Jt12/1 dispatched. All available units advise and assist.]

Justice Unit Jt12/1 is armed with two triple barrelled machine pistols

Which can be holstered on his hips for "quick draw". His hammer of justice is holstered on his backpack.

The hammer is a class 5 ergo-mallet capable of delivering over 50,000 watts of electricity to any mecha it strikes. More than enough to fry even the toughest AI

The Judge may look like he spends his days in court, but he's a lean, mean, kick-ass mech. more than capable of handling fisticuffs when required.

[Dispatch this is Justice Jt12/1, I'm under heavy fire! Send riot gear NOW!!]

SWAT equipped variants of The Judge have been deployed for those situations where return fire is too great for a stand up fight.

As always comments, suggestions and reviews are welcome.

Quoting George Staples This mech is pretty cool. I couldn't tell those were guns until I read it tho. I like the head design.
just out of curiosity, what exactly was it about the guns that made it difficult to tell? I'm just trying to get some ideas for improvements.
