This is Drandora Port, its a Modular Board I made (with MHM's help). It is a Heroica Game Board (for those who don't recognize it as one or don't know about Heroica). If you don't know who MHM is then... I'll give you the long name, Mysterious Hooded Man. Sorry if the Pictures are blurry or anything like that this is my first creation... for now.... MOHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
About this creation
A side view, where you can see all the ports, the side of the waterfall, and some of the ruins.
Second side view, you can see the boat that the Heroes sailed there on better, a open chest, some more ruins, and the other side of the waterfall.
Here is the waterfall, it comes down and off a mountain (that is the pieces to either side).
You can see the ruins on the right more clearly, from a top view, and the way that there are some road like pieces, and some sand pieces.
The ports on the right again, the multiple colored tiles, and not just two colors, were my idea. It is an original one I know, but I think it just makes it look better, and you get the fact that its a port in ruins better.
Here are the ruins on the left, with more multiple colored tiles, there are not as many ruins this side of the waterfall, there weren't as many things this side as there were the other.
And finally, the ports on the left, for which the Heroes came in. You can see the ship, and the chest more.
Thanks Luc, it is a little plain for a port that would be as busy as Drandora, I know. But thanks for the tips, I will try my hardest to keep building its hard to in between school and soccer. I will try my best anyway!
I think you've made a good start with this board and I like the idea of a ruined port. I think some more detail and decoration would be nice to really show that it was once a busy port here; some more bits of old building perhaps.
My first custom Heroica pieces were pretty plain too though so don't worry, keep building and check out the Heroica group's MOCs for some inspiration.
