This is a rebuild of 2 Fire Brigade sets into a single Fire station that is somewhat larger and can have 2 fire vehicles.
About this creation
I built this because I wanted a more realistic sized Firehouse for my city block that I am working on and something that would be similar in scale to my Police Station. I really liked the design the lego group came up with with their Fire Brigade set so I took 2 of those sets and built a bigger Fire Brigade with many of the same features as the original but also with my own take on it. I made the area under the belfry more decorative as well as shifted the symmetry so now the building is asymmetrical. I made changes to the windows and changed the facade slightly. For the lower floor, I kept the same facade design while working it in so that it worked with my floorplan. I did the same thing with the 2nd floor.
The next pictures are of the back which leads out to an alleyway in my city block that I am building. This is why there are street lights in back as well as walkways and such.
The alley, which is not in the picture, consists of 32x16 building plates that run all the way down the entire center of the city block. A city block in the moc I am constructing consists of 160 studs by 80 studs just to give you an idea. Eventually I will post a picture of the entire city block when it is done.
All of the following photos are of the interior of the Fire Brigade, Enjoy.
