On the edge of the elven forests, there lies a mighty tower, manned the powerful mage known by the elves as the Scarlet Mage. Specializing in fire magic, he takes great pleasure in burning any living item within his magical reach. The elves have decided to take action against him, because of his hatred towards their most beloved thing, nature. Many elven heroes can be seen at the base of the tower, their bodies burnt to a crisp. The only entrance to the tower is a magical portal that a spell can activate, but only the mage knows the spell, or so he thinks... The elves have learned the secret password from the trees, the birds, the vines, and the insects. Four of the elves best heroes have set out armed with the password to end the Mage's rule once and for all. Will they succeed, or will they end up at the bottom of the tower with the rest of the heroes?
~The building process~
The tower took about six hours by itself, measuring exactly 12 inches tall, while the landscape took another three to four hours. The tower is built on studs so it can be built diagonal, and is very fragile. I created the tower base and the greenery base hollow so as not to use lots of pieces, and by the end of the project my stores of light grey, dark grey, bley, see through blue tiles, and all my vegetation was exhausted. The mage uses the body of the king from the Kingdoms carriage set. I thought it all turned out pretty well, and the waterfall is my first waterfall, so it turned out pretty well for my first.
Thanks for viewing!
About this creation
A view of the tower with the mage on his balcony shooting fire from his hands.
A side view with the elven archers firing at the mage, with the crevice filled with water in between the tower and the elves. A sheet of fire is arcing out towards them.
The water filled crevice, with rock work, and the water fall, which I rather liked.
Another view of the waterfall.
The elves with the fire shooting towards them.
A close up of the mage, with his rich robes on.
The top part of the tower. I thought the roof turned out really well.
The tower with the dead elven bodies at the base of the tower, they were trying to reach the water, but none of them made it.
A close up of the bodies, and the scorched earth around them.
A top view of the entire scene.
The tower with the scarlet mage's flag flying from the top.
The scarlet mage.
The elven heroes.
The scene with no minifigs.
The greenery out of the mage's reach.
A close up of the water fall.
A rear view of the tower with the open back rock formation, and the supports visible.
The crevice rock work, the stream running through it, and the water fall.
