J25/1-12 "Swift" (hybrid Forte Noir type) LDD
Inspired by the designs of Forte Noir
About this creation

Shopping list:
As always there are things that I'm happy with and things I wish I'd done differently. Here's my "shopping list" of the main points:

head - This one is almost a pure Forte Noir design, not too far removed from what I normally do, but definitely not my style. I like it, but wonder if it is a little small.

Shoulders - perhaps one of the best "happy accidents" I've done in recent months, they turned out much better than I'd hoped. Unfortunately LDD doesn't seem to like me posing them, so it makes for vertical rotation which is quite limited. But since actual humans sometimes struggle to raise their arms above their heads I'm not too worried.

Arms - the hand design is pure forte noir, though I've used my customary clip rather than the robot hand, as this seems to work better in LDD for some reason.

Waist - it's the saintsinner waist, almost looks the same. I'd like to find a different way to create a posable lower torso without just keep transplanting the same joints every time...

crotch - HA! it's the same as always for me, nothing new here - move along.

Legs - Inspired by, but not directly copied from, forte noir's own standard frame design. I've also seen similar techniques used by Moko. From the hip to the ankle I'm happy with.

Ankle / feet - oops, this worked much better in my head, but the joints are on backwards to get a downward tilt. Must try again. Definitely for my next design I'm starting from the feet up.

Backpack - I resisted the temptation to put my usual wings on this, I wanted something that looked like something Forte Noir might have created, while still using my own techniques. I hope I pulled it off. They do however affect how the arms can be positioned.

Weapons - Nothing spectacular really, I've created something similar to these before. I'm learnding as Ralf Wiggum might say.

Colours - basically taken from one of the official Knight's Kingdom figures, the wolf knight I think. I just love the pastel blue / gold combination. I was originally going to go for white as the main colour, but it just would up looking washed out.

Quoting Thomas Z. This one is really cool too! I think the guns are pretty neat but the handle is bit long. Colouring is nice too! Well done.

Quoting LTE CEO of MMWI One of your coolest mecha yet.
Thanks. It's essentially the same frame as the previous forte inspired design, but dressed in the way I've been working since the saintsinner designs last December. I'm quite pleased with the results.
