It's true, everybody: I can build things other than Star Wars! I thought I'd give SW a rest for a bit and focus on some other themes that I've been wanting to build in. I've been wanting to build a Moodland scale Terminator for a while now, and, since I haven't seen any others on the internet, I think this is the FIRST in this scale! Not every detail is included because of size restrictions, but I think this is fairly accurate. As always, please RATE and COMMENT:)

I'm not sure if you plan on participating in this year's MOCAthalon, but if you need a team you'd be welcome to join "The Expendables". I'll send you an invite, hopefully we'll see you there! |

.... Haha I doubt that very much but thanks for the vote of confidence. ;) I am trying to think of another use for my 'skeleton' - Maybe a generic Gundam. Cant wait to see what you come up with next. |

The T-800 is perfect for the moodland scale and you also handled it perfectly transforming him into bricks. |

I'll be back. Ya. HA HA!!!!! Arnold Swarchenhagger, is that how you spell it? Anyway, I made an Arnold if you want to check. |
|
I told you I'd be back. I have been sent from the future to terminate this page by order of John Connor. Cyberdyne Systems must not have these plans. Termination shall commence now with a vigorous amount of spamming... |

HAHA! I wouldn't be surprised if Lucas stuck a T-800 in the background in some episode. |

Hmmm... I think it would've looked more accurate if you made it all in dark grey.
Um...the "real" thing is silver, so I'm pretty sure light grey is more accurate than dark grey... |

I've never seen the films, but this looks amazing! I like how all the little pieces mesh together for a coherent whole, it must have taken ages. Great work!
Thanks! I tried a TON of new techniques to make this guy accurate. You should definately check out the films sometime! |

Nooooo! I was going to do this. Well yours is much better than mine would have been. I love his face and the pipes on his arms and legs. I also really like how he is standing on the skull - just like in the begging of judgement day (I think). Another excellent moc :). .
Thanks! I think you still should build your own. Maybe you can improve some of my designs. |

I really like the detail you put into this. Especially the use of the control sticks for the hydraulics. The head looks good, although a little flat on top. I can imagine how difficult it must have been to get that feature right at this scale. The skulls on the ground are a cool touch! Awesome work again, dude! This is one of the coolest MOCs I've seen in a while! You really don't see too much Terminator stuff anymore so this is very refreshing.
Thanks, man! Like I said, I've been wanting to build this guy for a WHILE! |

It's really got resemblance to the real endoskeleton which in this scale is a miracle to do and you did it well. I thought of doing the same thing and then I stopped. I realized until I manage to do the head properly I ain't doing it at all. And ye, you too have that problem. The head looks more like a head of some droid from SW series than a real terminator In fact I realized I will have to do it in a little bit larger scale if I wanted to do the head right. Everything else you did great! Bravo!
Thanks! Getting as much detail as possible at this scale was the biggest challenge. I disagree with you about the face/head design, though. If you hold that last pic beside a pic of the "real" thing, you'll see there is quite a resemblence. |
