About this creation

A few minutes later and they were all standing by the door, ready for their secret assault on the base.
“Right, everyone ready?” Blast asked and they all nodded silently. “Then lets go.”

He pushed open the door as quietly as possible and they all stepped out.

Charge pulled a silencer out of a pouch on his belt and fitted it to the end of his sniper rifle.

The others let him go ahead of them and he crouched down then lay in the dry grass.

He pulled himself along on his chest then when he was near enough he aimed though his scope.

There were two droid sentries by the rear gate and Charge took them out in as many silenced shots.

He looked over his shoulder and signaled the all clear.

“Go.” Blast whispered as they ran, crouched-down round the corner of the house and across the plain to Charge who stood up and ran along with them.

They got to the edge of the base’s grounds and all collected behind a stack of crates.

Blast checked that the coast was clear.
“Ok go!”
They all leapt up and ran, still crouched down, through the wire gate and towards the base.

They pressed their backs against the base’s rear wall and stood listening to the sound of marching footfall.

“Bloody clankers sound more regimented than my troops ever did.” Charge mumbled. “Talking of which; What the hell have they done with all my troop’s bodies?”
The team looked around and realized that all the dead bodies from the battle earlier had been cleared up.
“They must have moved them inside.” Padfoot suggested.

Flare then dropped to the ground and slowly put his head around the corner to try and see what was going on.

He pulled back and stood up. “All clear. The side door is un-guarded. From the outside at least.”

“Go.” Charge whispered back and they all rounded the corner and ran towards the only side-door to the base.

Charge entered a code into a security panel and the door slid open.
“Hey! You’re not authori…” a droid guard inside the door started to say but was shot down by a quick bullet from Blast.

They all snuck inside and the door closed behind them.

“Is there an internal balcony or anything like that? A second-floor overlooking window facing into the central chamber?” Blast asked as they paused just inside the door.
“No. The whole base is on one level. It’s basically just 4 rooms with lots of confusing corridors.” Charge answered. “The barracks, the medical ward, the mess hall and the main control room.”
“Hm… We’ll have to find some other way of ambushing them then.” Blast thought out loud.

“I have an idea. The clankers won’t be using the mess hall will they, so why don’t we make our way there first?” Falcon suggested.
“Yes. That would work.” Charge agreed. “Okay. Everyone follow me.”

But just as they started to move off, pain tore through Blast’s left leg and he gasped and clutched at it, holding onto the wall for support.

“You ok sir?” Hess asked.
“Yes. Just an itch.” Blast lied but Hess took it and walked off after the others.

Blast knew that his leg must have started mutating. Suddenly he realized he wasn’t alone. He looked up and Padfoot was still stood there with him.

“Charge!” the U.R.S. second’ called after the High commander who stopped and turned to look. Blast quickly dropped his leg and stoop up straight. “I have a better idea. Why don’t we all split up and some of us go to each entrance into the control room? That way, the droids in there will be attacked from all sides. Surrounded.”

Charge thought for a moment. “Hm…. Yes. That’s not a bad idea actually. Okay, change of plan. Lets do that.”
“Right, everybody pair up and follow Charge. He’ll lead you all to the correct doors.” Blast commanded.
“What about you sir?” Flare asked. Blast smiled under his helmet. He liked Flare; he was smart. He was very observant and took in every aspect of every situation and analyzed it. A good man and a good soldier.
“If I go with you that means that Padfoot can go with Charge.” Flare suggested.
Padfoot shrugged. “Fine by me.”
“Okay. Lets go then. Good luck everyone.” Blast said. “Move out.”

The troops all ran off in pairs. Charge with Padfoot, Jelli with Falcon, Hess with Nightblaze, Slash with Shock and Flare with Blast. They took off down the confusing corridors until each pair stood behind a different door. One member of each pair had their comlink out and they now waited for Blast’s order.
It came.

Five doors burst open into the main control room and suddenly the droids started falling.
