I bougt a '7094 - King's Castle Siege' and got inspired to build a fortress in minifig scale. I'm pretty happy with the result.
About this creation
I find castles and medival times interesting. So I had to build myself af mighty fortress. It is no surprice that it takes a lot of bricks to build. But I had to visit some BrickLink stores just to build this section. I wanted to add som accuracy to the moc, so I had to read about castle designs and mix it with my own ideas. The moc is 3x3 standard baseplates.
The knights are leaving.
I've build some trees with a lot of round plates an plant leaves. How many trees do I need for a forest to my forestmen?
A top view of the gate house.
Archers are on the lookout on the outer walls.
Top view of the drawbridge.
No fortress without a ghost sneaking around.
two photos of the inside of the gate house showing that the knights has left the building.
This is just the first section of the fortress. More to come. Sometime.
Good to see a new castle for the classic Black Falcon knights.
I like that you have kept it quite clean(realistic)this make your refinements like the two shades of gray stand out.
This could work very well as part of a larger castle/town/midieval layout. Btw is this going to LW?
Var det ikke det murstykke du talte om til byggemødet? Skægt at de hedder "black falcon" alle fornuftige drenge kaldte dem ørneriddere ik' :).
Holy *%%&*&$(.That's pretty good. but you should put a few houses or more trees in front ,it just looks a bit empty .But the curves and other architectural details on those walls are beautiful .Well done.~Bourbon.
