The Legend of Harash Soru 15 : Redemption
About this creation
Stewjon, immediately after the events in An Increasing Threat 9.

It is late, most of the Jedi are either asleep or meditating. However, Nymrhan Soru and Trace Flamer cannot sleep. Instead they use their time to practice their dueling, a form of meditation in itself.

Nymrhan Soru: "Ha! I nearly had you there Trace!"
Trace Flamer: "Are you kidding? With an attack like that I barely need any defence."

Nymrhan Soru: "Whats wrong Trace? Afraid to be beaten by a girl?"

Deeper in the cave, Ordan Minoh stands behind Harash Soru. They cannot sleep either.

Ordan Minoh: "I don't know Hara. I just wish we didn't have to keep them in the cave."
Harash Soru: "I know Ordan. But we cannot execute them. It isn't our..."

Hara stopped, a veil of shadow falling over his face.

Harash Soru: "Nymrhan. The Sith have escaped."

The two Jedi jump into action and run for the door.

Ordan Minoh: "I'll get Nymrhan. You go for Nihilus!"

With their duel over the two young Jedi congratulate each other on a well fought match.

Nymrhan Soru: "You almost had me back there Trace."
Trace Flamer: "Well, to almost beat a relative of Harash Soru has to be worth something I guess."

Nym smiled but suddenly a quiet chuckling cut through the silence.

TAO: "Haha, how typically pathetic."
Trace Flamer: "TAO! The Sith must be free!"
TAO: "No prison can hold the Sith!"

TAO roared and leaped towards the two Jedi.

As he landed his blade clashed violently against Nym's.

Both Trace and Nym swung at TAO but the Sith quickly flipped over their heads.

TAO landed and fired a blast of lightning into Trace's chest.

Trace fell to the floor and TAO turned to Nymrhan.

TAO: "Tell me girl. Do you fear death?"

Nymrhan Soru: "To fear death is to fear a new life!"

TAO chuckled as he drove his blade through Nym's chest.

TAO: "Then enjoy wherever it is you're going."
Trace Flamer: "No!!!"

Deep in the cave Harash Soru slowed his run and closed his eyes.

Harash Soru: "May the Force be with you Nymrhan Soru."

TAO chuckled as he reached out and blasted Trace into the cave wall.

TAO: "Don't worry little Jedi. You'll see your friend soon enough."

Ordan Minoh: "Oh I don't think so."

TAO turned around and smiled thinly.

TAO: "It would seem the Jedi are queuing to fight me."

Ordan grunted and threw his lightsabers at TAO.

TAO chuckled and batted the blades away.

TAO: "Pathetic."

Ordan Minoh: "No. A distraction."

TAO watched wide eyed as Ordan lifted the speeder bike from the ground.

Desperately, the Sith flipped to one side.

However the speeder simply followed, slamming into the young Sith and crushing him.

Ordan stepped over TAO's body.

Ordan Minoh: "Perhaps now you shall find peace Cerean."

Harash Soru stepped slowly into Nihilus' prison.

Harash Soru: "Your followers are free Nihilus. We have little time, but I must show you this."

Hara waved his hand and cut the power to Nihilus' restraints.

He walked towards the Sith and placed his hand on Nihilus' mask.

Harash Soru: "This is what you could become Nihilus. All you have to do is let me help you."

Nihilus stared at the vision before him. He was looking at himself, as he had once been before Malachor. He was a Jedi. And he was human once more.

He saw himself stood beside Hara, not simply as equals, but as brothers to. Something stirred inside Nihilus, feelings that he had thought long dead. He wanted this. But could he really have it?

Hara looked down at Nihilus.

Harash Soru: "I will not stop you leaving Nihilus. Nor will I promise you freedom. But if we work together, if we stand together. Perhaps we may find a way of healing you."

The doors opened and Levid and the other Sith hurried in.

Darth Levid: "Soru. Kill him!"

Darth Nihilus: "No! Leave him, he will let us go."
Darth Levid: " Lord Sion?"
Darth Sion: "Nihilus is right. Leave the Jedi."

The Sith turned and hurried out of the room. But at the last moment Nihilus stopped and turned to Hara.

Darth Nihilus: "I will not chose now. But I offer you these words. May the Force be with you, Harash Soru."
