The airship captain, Adolf Steele, in the cabin of his small merchant vessel, Weatherdirk.
About this creation
Adolf examined his chart.
He didn't have much time to fix the alternate heading for Wes. The normal route, the Blais passage, was blocked due to the war. Drop too far to the east, and they would be in the thick of a forest of towering rock. Those infamous Spines would reduce the "Dirk" to matchwood.
Adolf was never a very cautious man, but he had a duty to his ship and his crew.
Young Wes must be over his head.
Speaking of heads, Adolf's was bare.
"Don't forget the hat!"
