I made this sculpture for my girl. She was convinced that I could only build robots and such. Heheh. I used my flag building technique to create the loop. They are mostly 1x2 bricks to allow the flex that I needed accompanied with 1x4 bricks located on the bottom rows for added support.
I also wanted to use the much neglected 1x1 yellow bricks with the cartoon eye. So, I rounded up as many as I could find and lined the top of the sculpture with them.
After the initial "Ooooooo!" & "Wow!" I teased her and told her that the crown was still not big enough for her head. All in good fun. Lol ;)

Whoa!!! You need about 1000 more comments on all your creations!!! How can no one see this!!!! Can someone wear this? It is perfectly shaped!!
Thanks for the comment. Hehe, if someone could wear this, I would be running as they are probably 20-30 feet tall or so. It measures out at 15"h x 25"w x 23"d. It was my display piece for the 2010 EXPO New Mexico / The New Mexico State Fair. Thanks again Will.
awesome tiara! very nice ''eye candy''! And i also see alot of use of ''useless'' bricks. you sure found a way to make them useful! i also see that you added ''smile bricks'' at the red stripe at the bottom! very good details and a very good sculpture!

Fantastic! Also, brilliant use of the eyes!
Thank you Luke. I always feel there are Lego elements that do not get to share in the glory. Those Legos need love too. I just find it hard to find their place of eminence. thanks again for the wonderful comment. -M. ;)
