Previewing the next episode of The Forgotten Saga...
Here you can see the basic rock work on the cliff. I think the slope followed by plate technique works well in emulating the real rake of a cliff.
A wider shot, showing some of the detailing. Sorry about the lighting. Time constraints mean a can only take pictures at night, and so flash had to be used.
The cliff top. I applied some flora and fauna to keep things interesting.
A shot of the whole thing. Note the layered slopes.
From behind, which gives a view on the little rocks jutting out. I would have added another layer, but the pieces are being used for something else.
On the prowl. Not exactly the most inspiring cinematography here...
This whole top section is my favorite bit. It's a simple technique but it looks clean and purposeful.
And the foliage at the bottom. I tried to squeeze a few leaves between the gap left by the rock.
