Goblin Nation Flying Ship
I built this ship ages ago, inspired by a much bigger space pirate ship I found while trawling through MOCs on the site.
About this creation

Aboard the space pirate ship Void, a crew of goblins thieve and plunder their way across the vast universe.

These goblins are from medieval earth where, as they were sailing through the blue ocean they chanced upon a dimensional time rip. The crew and their ship were flung into the distant future where they landed on the planet Drak-sladr. They forged a good life there, for it is much the same as earth.

From a local starship mechanic, the smartest of them learned the basic principles of stellar flight. Soon they began to adapt the Void to its new space, replacing the mast with a field-globe for oxygen and artificial gravity, the rudder with a second- hand PT635 solid booster. The engine is a twin turbine energy converter that takes its power from the yellow absorber panels on the top and sides of the ship.

Being pirates, they naturally collected a powerful array of weaponry. As well as the 6 small laser turrets on the bottom, there is a 21" lance cannon at the front that fires explosive rounds mounted below twin machine guns. At either side is a pair of laser guided tracking missiles controlled by the ships computer. Huge razor sharp blades protect the base of the prow, hanging below a rack of cannons that remain closed during travel, but turn 180 degrees to protect the top of the ship.

Since the ship is fairly small, the goblins usually have no trouble mooring at any spaceport or manoeuvring in dogfights, which means they can attack any city in the universe with ease. Since they are so successful, the goblins have started building villages and settling down, building more ships and have started expeditions to find a way back to earth.
