Here is my entry to round 2! Norrak, the Last Lich...Toa. No wait I said it right. Norrak is a Lich, an undead creature. Lich: Often such a creature is the result of a transformation, as a powerful magician or king striving for eternal life uses spells or rituals to bind his intellect to his animated corpse and thereby achieve a form of immortality. Liches are depicted as being clearly cadaverous, their bodies desiccated or even completely skeletal. Liches are often depicted as holding power over hordes of lesser undead creatures, using them as their soldiers and servants. Unlike a zombie, which is often depicted as mindless, a hive mind and/or under the control of some magician, a lich retains its independent thought and is as intelligent as a living human - and often, far more so. In some works of fiction, liches can be distinguished from other undead by their phylactery - an item of the Lich's choosing into which they imbue their soul, giving them immortality until the phylactery is destroyed. So that is a Lich. Due to time I wasn't able to do all that I wanted but I'm still happy with the MOC. I was able to do a spine, ribcage, bone-like legs and other skeletal-like things. Also, His staff and scorpion charm are the source of his lich powers. The upper part of his staff controls his magical energy and the lower part he can stab into the ground to call forth his undead minions. Well, onto the MOC!
About this creation
Name: Norrak, The Last Lich
Other Names: Norrak, The Last Toa
Bio: Not much is known about Norrak's lich form, nor much on how he obtained it. It is said that knowing he was the last toa, he didn't want the toa legacy to end, so he started dabbling in the Dark Arts to gain immortality. After some unknown process, he obtained his lich form, but then the 1st Era ended. Now he is being sighted roaming around the dimensions, an undead soul without a purpose.
MOC Status: Assembled
Thanks for veiwing! Don't forget to rate and comment!
Wow, this is a great entry! Well done! I do think the picture quality could use some work, but it's good enough to see how well built this moc is! By the way, is it me, or did I inspire that chest design? Not looking for credit, I just like to know if people find my ideas good enough to try themselves. :) But anyway, Excellent work!
