This is a build depicting the mighty Beowulf on his way to his last battle with a ferocious dragon who has threatened and attacked his town in several occasions. He marches through his town with many people looking at him and asking themselves if he will come back. Well, he does come back, but fatally wounded and then later surrenders to his wounds and dies.
Of course this is just a short resume of an old script with over 3000 lines.
Second Angle view.
Bird’s eye view.
I hope you like it! If not, let me hear what you dont like and I will do my best to fix that.
Once I saw the final photos I noticed that the quality decreased a bit, well, too late now to do something about it :/
Very nice! I think the color balance and many of the techniques are quite good. I feel like, once again, the studs are interfering a bit with the textural quality of the construction. I wonder if you had opted to go with a different roof technique - one involoving SNOT work for better textural effect - and perhaps set the buildings at an angle to the base, if it wouldn't have improved the overall effect. Still, I feel like this has some very nice qualities, and I'm giving it a score of 4.
I'm not really into the whole "Place a few bricks down to act as cobblestone" technique, but I wouldn't dock you any points for it....just a preference. Solid build, but there's something lacking to earn the top score. Score= 4
