Paradox: Rygus
Rygus, a planet changed over eons- only linked at one point: the ruined Passage of the Paradox.
About this creation
Though the Passage itself had long ago been decimated, the breach in eons that it represented was still visible.
The Traveler stood in the present, gazing into the past.
His target had vanished to the other side.
This was Rygus, an icy planet; once covered in lush forests, it was now a featureless plain.
The Passage of the Paradox was the only feature of the tundra; far from the industrial Rygian cities, a ruin from a darker age remained, providing a link to a time long since faded.
The Traveler stood in the present day of Rygus.
Prepared to pursue his quarry to no end, he gazed from the white into the green.

And then he walked into the past.

Another view.

Rygus in the ancient past; the planet is covered in dense jungle.

In the present, Rygus is covered in barren tundra wastes.
Hopefully you can see the Traveler well enough in this picture...
BTW his head is one from the werewolves from the 'Monster 4' Lego game.

The ruined Passage of the Paradox.

If all the above stuff makes no sense, here is a simple explanation.
Rygus was once covered in jungle.
Ancient people built a time gate.
Then it became an ice planet.
Far off in the icy wilderness, so far from all cities that the Rygians no longer believe it exists, is the gate.
The Traveler, the minifig you see above and also my Elite Forces minifig, has come here in pursuit of a villain who escaped to Rygus and went through the gate.
Got it?

This is for Mission One of the Elite Forces.
It is also my entry for the Nature category of the Vignette Contest 2012.

See y'all next time!

Neat concept, I like your wording on the story. I like what you've been doing with system so far (I'm actually delving into system as well, I'm just backed up on posts due to technical difficulties), but I'd like to see something larger and more detailed! It appears that you have the parts, I just see all this small stuff from you ;) For example, I'm working on a huge ship here: It looks even better now! :D
