Another pretty hastily made figure, this time based off of references (again, from my head) from Battlefield: Bad Company 2, and Battlefield 3.
The figure is also wielding an M16A3 which I made using super glue and cut pieces of dried acrylic.
TIP: If you dry acrylic paint on a smooth flat surface and wait a while, it will harden and peel off very easily. This can be cut and painted to the desired shape and color, and then applied to whatever it is you want.
There is a place in Minneapolis that is called Brick Arms and they make custom military vehicles as well as sell old LEGO sets and they also have a huge train display there, too. You should try to find them on Google. The displays that they have are definitely worth the trip. You did a nice job on the soldier.
