2012 has come and gone, and those remaining on earth are surviving as best they can. Build an apocalyptic scene that clearly shows elements of the apocalypse. Anything from an iron-plated ambulance with a machine gun on top, to a impregnable post office building with razor-wire and zombie-proof doors. Definitions of the apocalypse can be anything from zombies, to aliens, to nuclear destruction, etc. Make sure it has clear 'end-of-earth' qualities about it.
in 2012 they said the world was supposed to end. appocolase, end of society, something like that. they even made movies about what was going to happen. but they never prepared for the ice and snow.
it started in july of 2012. the volcanoes lining the ring of fire in the pacific erupted. the ash produced blotted out the sun over a quarter of the planet. where the ash spread there was no summer. by the time the winter of 2012 the ash cloud had turned into a super blizzard.
its been 7 month's since those events occurred. in that time artic animals like polar bears seem to have exploded in population, enough to be taken off the endangered species list.... if that list still existed.
so who am i? i was a college student. now i'm a survivor. stuck in this frozen wasteland. i don't know if i'm the last one alive or not. fuel and food are scarce, but obtainable. since digging down into the ice and snow i have found cars and concrete so i asume i'm in a city. there is one thing i do know though:
i hate the cold.
polar bears it seems aren't the only ones you have migrated. i found this little guy wandering around. i would shoo him off, but he's good at finding food, and since i've kept feeding him, he's become my pet. followed by old glory.
a car i unearthed a couple of days ago. forunately someone had a fuel gas tank when they tried to out run the cold, so i have a constant fuel supply. i hardly ever use it out of the car though, because if i can dig it out fully and winterize it, i might have a way to find warmer weather.
broken in window, which has allowed the car to be filled with snow.
standing guard. when i'm not hunting, eating, or sleeping, i',m standing guard. you never know when a polar bear might end up ruining your entire day.
my humble igloo. not 4 star, but beats being frozen to death.
from left to right: supplies, heater, sleeping bag.
like i said, polar bears are common. go get your own food!!!
