This is my second knife in my blade series. It just seemed fitting to do a cleaver after a fillet knife, as they both seem to match a "butcher's set". So, tell me how you think I did!
About this creation
The side view. I did my best to give it a curved feeling, but there is still gaps at the top. I tried to use some slope bricks, but they came up too abruptly. Originally, there was not supposed to be a counter-weight at the end, but it didn't look right without it.

From the top, you can see it is actually pretty wide (for a knife). I tried making it 1 stud wide, like my fillet knife, but it didn't seem to capture the image quite right, as the top of cleavers are very wide to give it strength while cutting through bone and maw. It only thins at the end, and there wasn't a way to do that neatly. Even though, I am happy with how it turned out. (Please don't mind that rag in the corner, it fell of our patio table and blew into the shot.) As of the cutting board, that is real wood, if you couldn't tell. My dad runs a workshop under the name of Prairie Oak Studios. Check him out on Facebook if you would like to see some more of his work.

Nice. I think the flat pieces as curves turned out very nicely.

Nice! Are ya gonna do a steak knife next? (they're the really big knives that serial killers use sometimes).
