"OK everyone, sublevel D5's main lab. Can't still make wireless contact with command so I've no idea what we're looking for. Stay sharp."
About this creation
"Well, I'm just a private, so I've never been here... but have anyone of you guys?"
"No Qarn, neither combatengineers and - of course - mercanaries have clearance for these sections. And I've not been stationed here until recently, with the battles and all."
"Dvorkin, work this thing out."
"It's a retinal scanner sir, and it doesn't react to me in any way. It should control the internal defence systems."
Access granted. Y H I D 1
"OK. I didn't know I could do that."
"Right, so this is how we do it. Jaar and private Qourn stay here and watch our backs. Short distance radio still works, but maintain radio silence unless engaged by hostile force."
"His name is Qarn, sir."
"We're being overrun by superior force. Aliens of unknown origin with devastating weapons and highly advanced technology. I have no time remembering names, engineer Twinkle!"
"See! I told you!"
"Oh great. So this is where they keep the captured aliens."
"Dvorkin! Find some kind of controls and check the stats and vitals of these labrats."
"Captain! It would actually appear that they're all... dead. Or at least I cannot detect any kind of physiological activity in the bodies, or anything at all actually."
"Allright.... so why are we defending a very expensive alien graveyard?"
"No idea sir. It doesn't look like they're intended for autopsy or any kind of dissection either, considering how well-preserved they are."
"We cannot stay idle here, we need to secure the entire area."
"Dvunker, make what you can of that device."
"Aha. This is the heart of the lab. Databases, power supply and the rest."
"That's strange. It seems like these facilities have been operational for several years. Before the attacks started."
"So they used them for studying Dvastakarian opossums before the invasion. Big deal."
"Hm, this is a bit strange..."
"Why keep this fellow in his very seperate luxury coffin over here apart from the rest?"
"No idea sir, but I will check it out."
"Wow, this is a little beyond my field... But wait. It would seem this part of the lab has a direct link to command, possibly for monitoring this cryochamber."
"This is Jaar. Cap'n Yhid. We have incoming bad guys. Repeat. Bad guys. Any second."
"Jaar, I'm on my way. Dwindlebee, can you work anything out of that box?"
"If I just get a few seconds sir, I could use the direct monitoring link to establish radio connection with command."
"Do it! We'll hold the aliens off."
"Yhid, we cannot stay here!"
"There is no tellin' how many of these guys there are!"
"Jaar, Quirby, fall back to my position!"
"Good, keep them pinned down in the hallway!"
"Dvystor! I need that comlink!"
"It's up sir!"
"Command. Command. This is Yhid. Holding the... lab. At sublevel D5. Unknown number of hostile aliens attacking. Requesting instructions, reinforcements, anything you can spare."
"Yhid. This is Colony Command. Directorate Hygaria speaking. Your orders are to hold your position."
"With all due respect sir, that's exactly what we're doing and it ain't going very well. We could really use some help one way or another." "You have your orders, captain. Command out."
"I got it. This is some sort of copy of an alien resurrection chamber. That's what the dead ones are for. I think that Colony Command is bulding an alien army of its own!"
