(First, this is set before the events of the hobbit.) Murder in Lake-Town is a story line that I have come up with and written, I will be presenting it in Lego in about 6 parts.
About this creation
On a misty night in Lake-Town.
Bard the bowman: Old Thomas! You had better get inside, or you will catch your death out here on such a chilly night as this.
Old Thomas: Ooh ar right.
Bard: Come on I will walk you back home.
Old Thomas: Oh right, thank ye Bard.
Later that night, a figure in a heavy traveling cloak came up to the door of the Torrence's house and observed the events unfolding within.
Donna: Darling, I love you so, come!
A man who was already in the room walked up and embraced her. The man at the door in the cloak, going un-noticed through all of this, having seen enough walked slowly away...
The next morning as a busy day starts in Lake-Town.
(Adolescent with scroll and quill)Charlie: Donna? I haven't seen you for a while.
Donna: Good-morning Charlie
Charlie: so who are you dating now? you always seem to be off to see someone.
Donna: None of your business.
(Man in red cap and heavy armor)Viktor: Hurry up and take down those stocks Charlie, we need to get moving.
That evening.
Beorn: I've done my rounds Bard, all seems quiet tonight.
Bard: Just as well, it wasn't long ago that we were running from Smaug on nights like this.
The two men continue their idle conversation.
Charlie creeps round to the door way of the Torrence's house. It appears empty.
He moves round the front and looks inside, there is a shadowy figure standing by the table.
Charlie: Donna? is that you?
Suddenly with a dull "thunk" a spear flies out of the darkened house and skewers right through Charlie. He cries out.
Bard and Beorn hear his outburst and run to see what has happened.
Beorn: Good Gods!
As the two men watch on in horror, helplessly the skewered body of Charlie topples over the railing and falls into the murky green waters that Lake-town was built on. As the body hits the water, it splits in half spilling poor Charlie's innards into the depths.
Soon no remnant of the ghastly sight is left above the calmly swaying water.
Bard: who could have done this?
To be continued......
Watch the mystery of Lake-Town unfold through the eyes of Bard and Beorn in the next episode!
