This is my Heroica creation called The Desert of Zalain.
About this creation
This is The Desert of Zalain. It connects to Draida Bay and The Caverns of Nathuz:
The boss. And the relic - The Golden Scorpion:
Here's the dice:
The heropacks. I've added the boxes for monsters. It can't hold many, but for just one adventure it's okay:
Here's the shop. Time to buy weapons :) :
Here are the heroes. The knight, the ranger and the warlock. The warlock has the ability to change the weather. He shoots a whirlwind at a monster up to three spaces away and may now move it whereever he wants to. Cool right?:
This is the monsters:
Mummy: Strength one.
Scorpion: Strength two.
Mummy king: Strength three. :
This is the entrance. Hold on - there's a mummy guarding it! :( :
!!! The first scorpion. It's guarding a speed potion. That could be useful - if you dare fight the monster... :
Another mummy. But there's also gold - and a treasure chest - yay!:
An oasis! If you roll a Shield when you are in an oasis you may restore all your health and choose not to move - or you may move/use your skill as usual. This oasis is guarded by a mummy... (don't they ever get tired of hanging around?) and there's also a piece of gold:
A mummy (once again) and a health potion - great!:
Another oasis - with the usual content - one mummy, one pcs. of gold, and one treasure chest:
Here's the boss. Ready to fight him. When you've taken him down you automatically go up on the pyramid and claim The Golden Scorpion. You may use it once to (when you are beside another hero) poison him/her and make that person lose all his/her health and begin to heal immediately. That's great if that person is ahead of you, or you just want revenge for something ;) :
Here I have connected the sandtiles from Nathuz and Draida. You can do that to just make the board bigger or if you're playing more sets together:
The Nathuz connection:
And the Darida connection:
Here's the set with the expansions and everything - hope you've enjoyed!:
If you think there's something missing or anything then please tell me in a comment.
Looks like a real set.
My only criticism would be that there could be a few more bits of scenery. I know it's a desert and they typically have nothing, but some palm trees or something around the two oasis would be good.
Excellent. LDD is never like building a real life set. At first, my initial thoughts were, "Why is there a forest in the desert?" And then I read that it was an Oasis. Perhaps change that green tile to a sand color and add a palm tree if you have the pieces.
